In Janet Campbell v C.J. Cordony & Sons Pty Limited [2009] NSWSC 63 (2 March 2009), the New South Wales Supreme Court held that a home owner was entitled to damages for breach of contract for various claims of defective building work. Application of the rule in Hadley v Baxendale (1854) 9 Exch 341.
